Tribute to my Grandpa

As I reflect on my grandpa’s passing, I’m deeply moved by the testimonies of his life—one marked by humility, character, and integrity. Grandpa Ajodo was a true servant of Christ, not only caring for his children and grandchildren but also embracing those who the world might overlook, showing us what it truly means to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

One of the greatest gifts God gave me was the opportunity to visit Grandpa in April 2023 with my mom in Nigeria. That memory will be marked in my life forever—a moment of family reunion, love, gratitude, and sweet presence. I am thankful for him not just because of what he did, but because of who he was. His life inspires me to walk in greater humility, to be a woman of integrity, and to serve others wholeheartedly. He showed me that true goodness is found in a life poured out for others.

Though we grieve, I find peace in knowing that Grandpa has received his reward from God in heaven. His life has left a lasting impact, and the legacy he built is evident in the lives he touched. As the Bible says, a good tree is known by its fruit, and his was one of love, faithfulness, and generosity. My prayer is that generations to come will continue to bear witness to the goodness he lived out so well.
