I stand tall today, a testament to the unwavering strength and unrelenting spirit of a man who defied the odds of his time.

My grandfather, a pillar of resilience, forged a path that not only shaped his own destiny but also paved the way for mine.

As a teenager, I spent a strike holiday at his abode, watching in awe as he worked tirelessly, even in his golden years. His weathered hands, worn from years of toil, continued to craft and create, refusing to yield to the comforts of retirement.

He never relied on the accomplishments of his children or grandchildren, instead choosing to earn his own keep, fueled by an unshakeable sense of pride and self-sufficiency.

That holiday spent at Idah( even though I was bored for the better part of it) instilled in me lessons in perseverance, diligence, and the value of hard-earned sweat.

As I observed Baba work, I began to understand the sacrifices he made, the struggles he overcame, and the triumphs he achieved.

His unwavering dedication inspired me to chase my own dreams, to push beyond the boundaries of what seemed possible.

Because he was, therefore I am.

His existence, a tapestry woven from threads of struggle and success, has become the foundation upon which I stand.

As I look back, I realize that my grandfather’s legacy extends far beyond his own accomplishments. It resides in the hearts of those he touched, in the lessons he taught, and in the generations he inspired.

I am proud to be his descendant, to carry his torch, and to continue his legacy.

Rest in peace, Papa. Your impact will be felt for generations to come.
For Because you were, therefore I am.
Bye ooooo as you always say when you end your calls.
