TRIBUTE TO MY HERO AND A MAN OF WISDOM
What a day 17th March 2025 that is the day I will never forget. Around 12:25am in the early hour of the morning my younger brother Ephraim disclosed to me about your passing to glory.
I will never forget my youthful years under your watchful eyes. So much love for me and my siblings. You were a man of integrity, disciplinarian, caring and loving, a philanthropist, a hunter, a businessman, a true Christian whose knees were always on ground in the morning and night hours for prayers. Baba I have travelled far and wide I make bold to say I have not seen anyone like you. You are a man of conscience; a resolver of disputes be it families or communities. You’re always advocating for peace.
I have continued with your legacy of a good family man having not heard any quarrels between you and Mama at anytime. Iam enjoying that legacy 17 years after marriage and still counting. You’re a lover of people I cannot count how many people you have affected. You stood for peace and showed it by your love for your people of Ibaji and Idah in general. I and my siblings thought we have known you all this while but the testimonies we are hearing shows how a rare bred you are and what affection you have for humanity from 10 years ago, you always feel sad when someone younger dies. You will say why should a younger person dies while you an older man is living.
You had so much confidence of yourself because of what you have achieved with your service to God Almighty. I cannot finish writing tribute about you because there is so much to write about you.
Heaven is full of joy for your transiting and we also are celebrating your legacy while on earth. Baba I thank God for giving me a father like you. Continue to bask in the glory of God Almighty till we meet to part no more on the resurrection day.
